Coney Island (1917) [25 min]
In this silent comedy film written by, directed by, and starring Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle and featuring Buster Keaton, Roscoe tries to dump his wife so he can enjoy the beach attractions. Buster arrives with Alice who is taken away from him by Al who loses her to Roscoe. Bathing beauties and Keystone Kops abound.
The Idle Class (1921) [32 min]
The Idle Class features classic staples of Charlie Chaplin films. It has physical humor, satirical statements on society and memorable performances. The plot features a clever ploy on identities — a true lower-class vs. upper-class story.
