World Premiere of Tophat Productions’ SUNSET BOULEVARD

Friday, December 10 at 7:00 PM
David Worobec, founder and principal artist of Tophat Productions, is pleased to finally present the world premiere performance of his one-man miniature stage project: Sunset Boulevard.
David, with his classical-singing abilities, 5-inch action figure cast, and miniature stage, will present this haunting musical masterpiece. Based on the classic film noir directed by Billy Wilder, the story centers around the main character/narrator, Joe Gillis, a struggling screenwriter who has been hired by an actress from the silent film era, Norma Desmond, to edit her script of Salome.
She hopes that this will mark her return to the silver screen. Because of Norma’s fragile mental state, no one has the guts to tell her, that she has been forgotten and that no one wants her in movies anymore. When the truth is revealed, tragic consequences follow. Filled with suspense and a haunting score by Andrew Lloyd Webber, come see this thrilling musical as you’ve never seen it before!
