Step up to MSA for a showcase of Portland’s youth dance groups!
Curated by Portland’s very own Veeva Banga, this vibrant night will feature performances from local youths who love to dance and want to share their moves with you. A variety of dance styles like Hip Hop, Modern, Afrobeats, Ballet, and more will be represented. Includes a special guest appearance from the Portland Arts and Technology High School (PATHS) Dance Group.
Learn about small dance groups from Maine and how you can support them, or simply come to be entertained!
Admission is by donation and all proceeds support Mayo Street Arts.
ABOUT VEEVA BANGA
Veeva Banga is a South Sudanese dancer. Since the age of twelve dancing hip hop every Friday, she has honed a passion for sharing her cultural dance with people locally. She is a talented dancer that has an opportunity to play with a mix of styles in Afro Beat that can offer a different approach to dance in Maine. She has taught at local studios like Hustle and Flow Studio, Bright Star World Dance Studio, Living Room Dance Collective, Portland Youth Dance, Mayo Street Arts, and many more.
