FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 — 6:00 – 8:00 PM

Join Mayo Street Arts for the opening reception of a solo exhibit by Peter Wallis, which brings together the Mythic and Quotidian.

Using a visual language of theater, abandoned buildings, combined with figurines, dance, and skeletons, Peter creates the architecture of memory and dreams.

Peter Wallis, a former MSA Studio Artist, earned his BFA in Illustration from Maine College of Art and his MFA from Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont with a focus on Printmaking, Graphic Novels, and Peace Studies. He sees arts education as a catalyst for meaningful change in the world, and is interested in exploring how memory changes over time.

There will be festivity, libations, and light hors d’oeuvres!
