Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band bring a special klezmer performance in two parts! The first set will focus on klezmer music, but when the first set ends, chairs will be cleared from the front of the stage, creating space for a large-scale community dance. The entire audience will be invited to participate and learn a number of klezmer dances. Folks will hold hands, kick legs, and spin in unison. Community partners with knowledge of the form—including the workshop participants—will be dispersed throughout the audience to assist as the music plays.
